Firmware Update VRM Portal und Cerbo Neustart

Hi ich habe seit ein paar Tagen das Phänomen das mein Cerbo GX 1-2 x am Tag neu startet,
des Weiteren werden die VE.direct Geräte nicht mehr in der FW Updateliste angezeigt, in der Geräteliste sind sie gelistet und als kürzlich gesehen gelistet.
Für die Modulwechselrichter habe ich die Modifikation für opendtu installiert.

Fimware vom Cerbo ist aktuell, habt ihr eine Idee woran die Neustarts und die fehlenden Geräte in der Update Liste liegen können?


Meine Standardantwort bei Cerbo-Neustarts ist die Vermutung, daß der Watchdog übereifrig ist. Bei vielen auszuwertenden Geräten wird die Rechenlast im Cerbo höher, und das kann den Watchdog triggern.

in welchem Zusammenhang kamen die Neustarts? irgendwas verändert? Gewitter mit Blitz durchgezogen?

ich bin mir nicht ganz sicher seit wann das Problem besteht.
Was wurde in letzter Zeit am Systemgeändert:

  • Victron SmartSolar MPPT RS 450/200 am CanBus hinzugefügt
  • dbus-opendtu installiert
  • Spannungsversorgung der OpenDTU über den USB Anschluss des CerboGX MkII

was mich halt wundert, die Canbus Geräte werden in der FW Liste angezeigt, die VE.Direct Geräte nicht. In der Übersichtsliste sind sie vorhanden.

Ich habe schon mal geschaut wie die VRM Instanzen sind, und habe Instanzen die doppelt vergeben sind umnummeriert.
dbus-opendtu kommt bei Instanz >280 um keine Konflikte zu machen



habe die Werte vom Watchdog mal höher gesetzt, ich werde die Sache beobachten.

FW Scan liefert bei den VE.Direct Geräten noch immer kein Ergebnis.

heute morgen wieder Neustart, keine Ahnung ob wegen dem dbus Timing neu gestartet wurde, oder ob das Timing so schlecht war wegen dem Neustart

Das würde ich mal blind in Erwägung ziehen. Einfach mal die openDTU wieder per USB-Netzteil versorgen und beobachten…

Steht was im Logfile zum Grund des Reset? Wurde der aktiv ausgelöst (Watchdog) und warum? Hat das System Hardwareprobleme (Stromversorgung, EMV)? (Fern-)diagnosen sind bei so seltenen Ereignissen schwierig, wenn nicht was aus den Logfiles zu entnehmen ist :frowning:

Das dbus timing alleine löst keinen Neustart aus, das ist nur eine in VRM sichtbare Metrik für die Systemlast.

Mir fallen da spontan 2 Sachen ein in Verbindung mit Venus OS und OpenDTU.

  1. Ich habe 2 mal die OpenDTU Integration im Venus-OS am laufen mit insgesamt 4 Wechselrichtern und das ohne Probleme.

Allerdings ist der OpenDTU mit einem Steckernetzteil und nicht an der USB-Buchse des Cerbo/ Gx. Das hat mir damals auch Probleme bereitet das ich öfter einen Reboot hatte. Merkte ich durch die Anzeige Passthru.

  1. Wenn man mit viel Elan Node-Red komplett voll ballert dann kommt die CPU im Cerbo /Gx an ihre Grenzen.

Lösungsweg:

1. OpenDTU mit eigener Spannungsversorgung
2. Wenn Node-Red: Massiv abspecken, oder wenigstens die Flows optimieren.

die Vorschläge mit der USB Versorgung der open DTU halte ich für sinnvoll.

Beim CANBus Problem wäre der Ansatz zu prüfen: hat das Kabel Kontakprobleme (aus und einstecken, Stecker bis zum Anchlag reinschieben), ist es vielleicht falsch ausgezeichnet verkauft worden, ist vielleicht der Terminierungsstecker defekt, oder schafft er die 120 Ohm nicht, die der Cerbo erwartet. Auch hier nochmal den Steckersitz prüfen, neu stecken.

Ich meine dass sein CAN System fehlerfrei ist, jedoch die VE.direct Geräte nicht ordnungs- oder erwartungsgemäß gelistet werden.

Für CAN kann man ansonsten auch unter Einstellungen >> Konnektivität >> canXY schauen wie es um die Datenverbindung(en) steht:

@Mittelhesse Bezüglich VE.direct hab ich da jetzt auch keine konkrete Idee, aber Neustarts kamen bei mir auf dem Raspi4 auf dem das VenusOS läuft auch schon mal vor wenn das Dateisystem der SD Karte hinüber war.

Dazu kann man in der Putty Konsole mal auf die Suche nach Error- oder Warningeinträgen gehen:

Zumindest ist bei VE Direct die Steckverbindung seehr labil, da würde ich auch mal nach schauen.

sieht soweit gut aus, hat auch seit gestern morgen anscheinend nicht mehr neu gebootet.
hatte aber auch NODE-RED deaktiviert und Signal K deinstalliert.
